Our warranty is designed to give customers peace of mind, ensuring that your purchase performs well under normal use. This policy applies to products purchased directly from patioslife.com or through authorized retailers within the United States.Ā 


10-Year Limited Fade-Resistant Warranty

Patioslife provides a 10-year limited warranty for fabric fading on eligible patio umbrellas. This warranty applies to noticeable fading (typically defined as discoloration over one inch in size) under normal usage and exposure, provided the product has not been misused or subjected to extreme conditions.

NOTE: ā€œFadingā€ is defined as a visible and measurable change in color due to UV exposure, not caused by mold, stains, pollution, or chemical cleaning agents. Warranty coverage applies to fabric only and requires proof of original purchase and photographic evidence.


What This Warranty Covers

Fade Resistance:
Fabric fading resulting from exposure to sunlight and typical outdoor weather conditions. Product performance is tested based on industry standards such as AATCC 16 (Colorfastness to Light).

Note: These results are based on lab tests; actual outcomes may vary depending on usage conditions and climate.

Mechanical Defects:
Faults in parts like cranks, rib connectors, or hardware that affect functionality under normal use.

Manufacturing Defects:
Material or workmanship defects that impair usability during the product's intended lifespan.

NOTE:This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and starts from the purchase date. Proof of purchase (e.g., order confirmation or receipt) is required for all claims.


What This Warranty Does Not Cover

To ensure transparency, please note the following exclusions:

  • Damage due to misuse, accidents, abuse, or neglect

  • Wear and tear from prolonged or inappropriate exposure (e.g., not closing the umbrella during strong wind or storms)

  • Unauthorized modifications or use of third-party replacement parts

  • Minor discoloration, cosmetic imperfections, or personal dissatisfaction

  • Products from unauthorized resellers or second-hand platforms

  • Damage caused by chemicals, extreme heat, fire, or environmental hazards outside typical use

  • Any indirect or consequential loss, such as property damage or loss of use

Example: This warranty covers fabric fading under normal sun exposure, but not rips, tears, or mechanical breakage caused by misuse.


Warranty Claim Process

To initiate a claim:

  1. Contact us at support@patioslife.com within 10 years of purchase.

  2. Include:

    • Order number

    • Description of the issue

    • Clear photos from multiple angles

  3. Our team may request the item be returned for inspection.

  4. If approved, we will arrange a repair, replacement (of comparable product), or refund.

Shipping costs for valid claims will be covered by Patioslife. Return shipping for ineligible claims may be the responsibility of the customer.

We aim to review all claims within 7–10 business days. Insufficient documentation may result in delays or denial.


UV Resistance Disclaimer

Our fabrics are manufactured with UV-resistant properties and tested for lightfastness according to AATCC 16 standards.

Note: While test results show UV blocking performance of up to 98%, actual protection may vary depending on environmental conditions, product use, and care practices.

A copy of test certification is available upon request.

Limitations & Legal Disclaimer

This warranty is offered in place of all other warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
Patioslife is not responsible for any incidental or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the product.

We reserve the right to update or amend this policy at any time. Continued use of our products indicates acceptance of the latest terms.
