FAQ About Orders & Shipping
Do l need to pay tax on my order?
Since our prices are tax-inclusive, customers do not need to pay any additional taxes.
Which payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards including Visa, Visa Debit, Mastercard, American Express and more. We also accept PayPal payments.
Do I need to pay for shipping?
We offer free shipping to the 48 contiguous United States. We charge for shipping to Alaska, Hawaii. All return shipping is free.
Do I need to be home for the delivery?
We give you the option to select if you’d like to sign for your package at checkout. If you’ve selected that option, then FedEx will need your signature to successfully deliver your package. Please note that FedEx will not let us remove the signature requirement once the package is in transit.
If you would like for FedEx to just lease your package outside your door, simply leave the signature requirement unchecked during check-out. With this option, we are no longer liable for any loss or damage to the package after delivery.
When will I receive my delivery?
We have our own warehouse located in Ontario, CA. We typically partner with FedEx and USPS, and the estimated delivery time is within 2-4 days.
Will I get a tracking number?
Yes, all orders are shipped with tracking. You'll receive the tracking number, as well as delivery updates, via email and/or text.
How do I change or modify my order ?
We can help you modify your order any time before shipment - change an item or your shipping address. Please email us at support@patioslife.com ASAP.
How do I cancel my order?
To cancel a paid order, you will need to email us at support@patioslife.com before the order is shipped.
Please note that generally we're not able to stop its transit after it is shipped out. Shipping fees are not refunded after the parcels are shipped out and for returns based on preference.
Why isn't my tracking number working?

FAQ About Return & Exchanges
How do l start a return or exchange?
Once you've decided that you no longer want to keep your Patioslife product, we're happy to help you find the best solution for you or just initiate the return.
The easiest way to start a return is to go our return center and fill out the return form.You just need to have your order number ready to start the RMA. You will be given a shipping label and drop the box off at any FedEx location. As long as the product is still in working condition, we'll process a full refund once we received the items back at our warehouse.

Do I need to pay for return shipping?
If the return is due to our error, such as sending the wrong item, we offer a free return and exchange policy. However, if the return is due to personal reasons, such as dissatisfaction with the color or ordering the wrong size, the return shipping cost will be covered by the customer. The return shipping fee is approximately 10% of the order total.
How long will it take to get my orders?
It depends on where you are. Orders processed here will take 5-7 business days to arrive. Overseas deliveries can take anywhere from 7-16 days. Delivery details will be provided in your confirmation email.
What products are eligible for the 5-Year limited warranty?
This warranty is available for all our umbrellas' frames and accessories as well as all fabrics.
Why was my package returned?
There are multiple reasons your package might have been returned to us: wrong or incomplete address, invalid phone number, or unable to deliver. Please contact the shipping company and remember to provideyour tracking number to find out more information. If you still cannot find your package, please email us at support@patioslife.com ASAP. We will try our best to resolve the issue.
FAQ About Umbrellas
Can I buy the umbrella canopy separately?
Sorry, we do not sell umbrella canopies separately.However, we are proud to offer you an extended canopy fabric warranty, which covers all fabrics we use.
We offer a 10-year limited warranty guarantee against color fading from normal exposure conditions.
How much wind can a patio umbrella withstand?
Patioslife patio umbrellas, when paired with properly weighted bases, are designed to withstand strong winds of up to level 8 (based on lab tests). However, in real-world conditions, where factors like sudden gusts and turbulence may occur, we recommend closing the umbrella when wind speeds reach 10.8–18.5 m/s to ensure safety and prolong the umbrella’s lifespan.
Can I use the umbrella in a saltwater pool area?
We do not recommend placing the umbrella in or near a saltwater pool. While our patio umbrella frames are made of durable, powder-coated aluminum that resists rust and performs well outdoors, the screws are made of iron and may be prone to rust and corrosion in saltwater environments. For the best results, keep your umbrella away from areas with prolonged saltwater exposure.
Can I replace the umbrella canopy?
Yes, you can easily replace the canopy if needed. canopies are made with superior materials like Outtra and Sunbrella fabrics that are fade-resistant and are backed with long-term warranties.
What are the materials of an umbrella cover?
The cover is crafted from durable 600D heavy-duty Oxford fabric with a thick PVC coating, offering exceptional waterproof performance.
1. It protects your patio umbrella from damage caused by external elements such as rain, dust, and UV exposure.
2. The PVC-coated cover keeps your umbrella clean and well-maintained during long periods of non-use, effectively prolonging its lifespan.
For added convenience, a specially designed rod is included, making it easy to put the cover on and take it off without the need for a stool or ladder.
Why is there a slight color difference between the actual canopies and the pictures?
Slight color variations between batches may occur due to production process tolerances.
Differences in photography lighting, rendering technology, screen resolution, and color depth can also impact how colors appear in pictures.
We’ve made every effort to minimize color differences between displayed images and the actual umbrellas. However, please use the images as a reference only.
Are your umbrellas waterproof?
Our patio umbrellas are primarily designed for sun protection and UV resistance. While the fabric offers some water resistance, they are not fully waterproof. To protect your umbrella and ensure its durability, we recommend closing it during heavy rain and seeking shelter indoors.
What do I maintain my umbrella?
Patioslife patio umbrellas are designed for hassle-free use with minimal maintenance required under normal conditions. To keep your umbrella looking its best, we recommend occasional cleaning. Simply spot-clean the canopy using a mild soap or detergent and a soft-bristle brush, then let it air dry completely. For added protection, always close the canopy when not in use to safeguard it from potential damage caused by adverse weather.
FAQ About Umbrella Base
Does this umbrella come with a weighted base?
For each umbrella, we’ve already matched the appropriate base specification at the factory, so there’s no need for you to purchase an additional base separately.
Can I use water or a water-and-sand mix in the base during winter with sub-freezing temperatures?
If you’re using a plastic base, we recommend emptying the water or water-and-sand mix before winter arrives. Alternatively, you can add antifreeze to the water inside the base to prevent it from freezing in sub-zero conditions.
What is the recommended ratio of sand to water for filling the base?
Start by filling the base with sand, as its higher density provides better stability. Fill the base almost completely with sand, then add water to fill the tiny gaps between the sand grains, maximizing the base’s weight and stability.
